Objective

The objective of this project was to help the owner of Madhav Store create a dashboard to track and analyze their online sales across India. The client wanted to understand customer behavior, sales trends, and popular products to make informed business decisions.

Approach

We used Power BI to analyze the e-commerce sales data of Madhav Store and extract meaningful insights from it. We followed the following steps:

  1. Data Collection: We collected data from Madhav Store's online sales platform.
  2. Data Cleaning & Wrangling: We cleaned and wrangled the data to make it suitable for analysis.
  3. Data Modelling: We modeled the data to create relationships between tables and perform calculations using DAX formulas.
  4. Data Visualization: We used different visualizations to represent data effectively. We used filters, slicers, and drill-throughs to create interactive dashboards.
  5. Dashboard Design: We designed an intuitive and easy-to-use dashboard that shows the total sales, the number of orders, and the average order value. It also shows the sales trend over time, the top-selling products, and the sales by customer demographics.
  6. Sharing Insights: We shared the insights generated from the data with the client to help them make informed business decisions.
